Director of Human Resources

Iniala is an exclusive 6-star Villa Residences on Natai Beach, north of Phuket. The Residences have been individually and uniquely created by world famous designers and Iniala boasts Thailand’s first Michelin 3-star Restaurant, and a level of service that is unparalleled. We are looking for outstanding Director of Human Resources to join our team, to work towards creating something not-yet achieved in the extreme-luxury sector.

Responsibilities include:
1.Provide a professional, advisory and executive support service to the General Manager to assist in meeting strategic goals of the establishment.
2.Participate in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies for the establishment.
3.Liaise with Department Heads and make recommendations regarding Human Resource issues including staffing levels.
4.Design, implement and review training programs to meet specific department needs.
5.Analyze associate turnover and sick leave with the aim of implementing strategies for reduction.
6.Develop recruitment strategies and oversee the efficient and timely hiring of all associates. Ensure the systems are appropriate and procedures are followed.
7..Implement and evaluate an effective Performance Appraisal System in line with corporate guidelines.
8.Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans.
9.Oversee the effective administration of personnel records and files in line with Starwood Policy.
10.Develop and administer Corporate and Hotel Human Resource Policies.
11.Develop and implement detailed Human Resources plans to support business objectives.
12.Liaise with the Executive Committee, regarding potential opportunities and threats so as to be pro-active in addressing changes in the Hotel’s environment.
13.Represent the employer’s interest in all employment related legal proceedings and industrial disputes.
14.Monitor the maintenance of current Job Descriptions, salary grades and benefit packages.
15.Conduct Human Resources Department development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career pathing.
16.Oversee the selection and appointment of new associates within the Human Resources Department.
17.Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
18.Ensure that all associates comply with the grooming and uniform standards.


Qualification:
- Male or Female / Thai nationality only
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as HR professional preferably with 5-star hotels
- Knowledge of Thai labor law, expat’s visa and work permit
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Problem solving, self-motivated, easy-going and positive attitude
- Willing to re-locate to Phang-nga
